Introduction : 

 Banking module has been enhanced in Tally.ERP9  to simplify the overall banking experience, recording transactions and generating various banking reports. The banking module focuses on managing and streamlining banking transactions and activities.( Banking समग्र अनुभव को सरल बनाने, लेनदेन रिकॉर्ड करने और विभिन्न बैंकिंग रिपोर्ट तैयार करने के लिए Tally.ERP9 में बैंकिंग मॉड्यूल को बढ़ाया गया है।  बैंकिंग मॉड्यूल बैंकिंग लेनदेन और गतिविधियों को प्रबंधित और सुव्यवस्थित करने पर आधारित है।)

Enable Banking feature : 

Steps --> Gateway of Tally -->F11(company features) --> F1 ( Accounting features) -->Banking  Features 

• Enable check printing  (Yes)  

•  Set/alter Banking features  

•  Set/alter post-dated transaction features 

          (Accept the window)

Create bank ledger and Set check books
Steps: Gateway of tally--> Account info--> Ledger--> Create
Name.    : HDFC Bank
Under.   : Bank accounts

A/c holder name  : type your name
A/c no.                    : 245262625261
IFC Code.               : AAAA0123456

Set check books. : Yes ( check range for HDFC From no. 000001  to n. 000050
no. Of cheque 50 cheque book name HDFC)

Set cheque printing configuration: Yes ( press ctrl+c (copy from sample format))

  (Accept the window)

Q. Pay to ajay through HDFC check 25000.
Steps : Gateway of tally--> Accounting voucher-->F5 Payment voucher
A/c.       : HDFC
Particular : Ajay.              Amt. 25000

Cheque Printing :
The cheque printing option allows you to print all required cheques. It also allows to update the the cheque details of a transaction, i.e., the instrument no., instrument date etc.
(चेक प्रिंटिंग विकल्प आपको सभी आवश्यक चेक प्रिंट करने की अनुमति देता है।  यह एक लेनदेन के चेक विवरण को अपडेट करने की अनुमति देता है, अर्थात, इंस्ट्रूमेंट नं।, इंस्ट्रूमेंट डेट, आदि।)
Steps 1. : Gateway of tally --> Banking--> Cheque printing
2. Select HDFC bank
3. Press spacebar to select transaction for which the cheque has to print ( spare bar  दबाकर उस cheque को सेलेक्ट करे जिसे print करना हो)
4. Press alt+p for printing

Cheque Register :

The cheque register helps to you manage your cheque book for various Bank by providing the status and values of the total number of cheques for each Bank (cheque book wise) that are available, unreconciled, reconciled, blank, cancelled and post dated.
Cheque Register maintains cheque books in systematic manner. This report gives you overall bank cheque book status from one screen and also help in tracking cheque books and also can search status of check instantly.

चेक रजिस्टर आपको प्रत्येक बैंक (चेक बुक  के अनुसार ) के लिए कुल चेक की स्थिति और मूल्यों को उपलब्ध कराने के लिए विभिन्न चेक के लिए अपनी चेक बुक का प्रबंधन करने में मदद करता है जो available हैं, unreconciled, reconciled, blank, cancel और post dated हैं।

 चेक रजिस्टर व्यवस्थित तरीके से चेक बुक बनाए रखता है।  यह रिपोर्ट आपको एक स्क्रीन से समग्र बैंक चेक बुक का जानकारी देती है । चेकबुक को ट्रैक करने में भी मदद करती है और तुरंत चेक की स्थिति भी खोज सकती है
